Hello all,

Quick question, if I had £50k to invest and was aiming to buy in the north west/greater Manchester area.

How and where would you buy, if I wanted high yield and a steady growth?

You can get a 1 bedroom apartment but if you can find a good parking space, that would bring you more money.

The question was asked about Manchester in the United Kingdom, not in Pakistan where you are located.

I think you may need to look at properties which need major work as £50k would not buy you much in any of the up and coming areas of greater Manchester. Is that £50k in cash you have or might you look at using that as a deposit and topping it up with mortgage finance?

I know there are a number of new property developments across greater Manchester which offer assured rental for a set period of time. As you are investing, as opposed to planning to live in the property, this could be an avenue to research?

The way the Manchester and greater Manchester property market is at the moment, you won’t be short of options for this particular style of property investment!
