Yeah, I know what you mean, I did this 10 years ago, waited too long and never bought one to this day. But now I hear that in a year, a year and a half they wil go down by at least 20%. Was wondering if anyone knows if this is true.
That's true, but all Europe has changed in recent years and not good. But compared to other countries Malta still has an opportunity for a good life style I think.
@ FWL I know Dubai is not what it used to be anymore, all prices have gone up and from what I heard it is quite unstable market. How is it firming up again?
My brother does constructions and renovations and he found lots of jewelry, gold, diamonds.. He returned it to the owner and the owner did not even know about it.
Most of the balcanic area is stigmatised and considered as dangerous but it's not the case anymore, it has developed a lot in recent years and the investment oportunities are good.
Malta is a really good place to relocate to. Yes, property prices have gone up in recent years but that is because they offer lots of advantages. Good health and schooling systems, not to mention the nice life style.
I love the idea of property flipping and if you have the skills you can do great. Of course you have to be realistic about it, at the end of the day you want to make money. But if the cost is worth it and you are lucky to find some cheap properties you should go ahead and do it.
I preffer a bath and I think it adds more value when you sell but if the bathroom is really small it might take away the value. Some pictures might help.
I think you have a great idea, I would totally do that and with your experience I think you will be successful. But it's true, with the incertainty of Brexit I would wait a bit to see what is hapening. But well done for your plan.
Of course eventually I would invest and building another house on the property but unless there are money laying around for now I would just try to get as much as I can back.
I'm sure in recent years real estate in India has grown it's potential but of course I would still be very cautious when investing there and the people I would deal with. It is a beautiful country though, worth investing.
