Hi Mike Yes I went with Seddons and yes I got a refund but can't remember how much (not a lot I think). I'll have a look through my paperwork and PM you (might take a day or two).

I doubt we'll ever see our money again. I've more or less accepted that but it still rankles.

I don't know anyone now who has stayed with the development and haven't heard of it moving forward at all. Would be interested to hear from any members who are still buying there.

I don't know of anyone who received their money back though I also don't know anyone who withdrew at the early stage that you did.

We sold our apartment in Greece without title. The agent sorted it all out and took commission from the buyer so we didn't lose a penny.

I know this is nothing to do with Egypt but all the currencies (except Kuwait) in the Gulf are tied to the dollar and for the first time in several years we're actually getting an excellent rate when we transfer our dinars in to sterling. We're trying to make the most of it while it lasts!

We sold our studio in IC towards the end of the summer. Just a few days after the money was transferred to the UK, the pound started falling. I daren't look now at how much more we would have made if we'd have hung on but just a week after the transfer, we'd 'lost' several thousand pounds!
