If you ask Select, they will use the health&safety excuse because they dont want to take you there. But I can confirm that you can get onto the site, no problem, I have done it myself. They do need evidence that you are an investor.

I cant say I'm surprised that they are going bust. As long as you have proper ownership of your property, you can move on and find another agent to rent it for you.

It is a political play by AD. The fact is, they have 10 times the money needed to bail out Dubai. But, AD will want control over its neighbour.
