Property around Premier League clubs in demand

I am not 100% sure these price spikes all relate to football otherwise why would they not happen outside of London? London is a hotbed of different cultures and in reality the cost of living, wages and cost of property are not related to anywhere else in the UK. Is this not a little bit of a red herring, linking the price spikes with football?

It looks to me as if some parts of the press were having a quiet day and looking to “join the dots” between properties near Premier League football clubs in London and average house price growth. As mentioned above, if this was purely and simply down to the location of football stadiums then it would be happening (albeit to a lesser extent) all around the country.
