Realtors need to be fluid and react to the market - if the market is turning down then maybe trim the price to ensure a sale. If the market is picking up then maybe hold off a little before accepting offers, in the hope that other offers come in.

All I would say is that when selling a property you need to be realistic - sticking to your guns for the last couple of grand might see you lose out big style if the market turns.

I would guess there are very few, if any, investors who have not hung on for that last few dollars and paid the price. When selling any asset, whether property, stocks or shares, you need to be flexible and instantly way up the pros and cons.
