Will the German property market benefit from the country status within Europe?

Germany is by far and away the most powerful country within Europe although this does have its financial drawbacks as we saw during the Euro crisis. Do you think Germany's position as the powerhouse of Europe will have a positive influence on the German property market going forward?

Germany’s position and influence within Europe can be something of a double edged sword because in the tough times, which we saw after the 2008 US mortgage crisis, other EU partners tend to turn to Germany for financial assistance. However, in the longer term surely the position of Germany at the head of the European table must be a positive?

Germany stands to benefit more than most from Brexit - the UK and France have always been able to hold Germany to account but France is a weakened nation and the UK will be gone. Selective investment in German property could be the way ahead?

The UK will be gone and France is too weak so yes, Germany will be the main benefactor from Brexit

Due to recent political changes I want to raise a question: What is your opinion about Brexit? Will it happen without May and if not, will anything change in Europe or will Britain be weaker?

- Brexit will happen - probably softer than many want
- The EU will come back to the negotiating table - the main parties behind a federal EU have been weakened
- May was a remainer so it was always a challenge to say the least
- The Labour party are worse than useless as an opposition - any half decent leader would have swept the tories out of office already

The main parties behind a federal EU might be weaker. But the Brexit supporters as well. There is pressure on both sides of the table.

The bottom line is that the UK held a one off democratic vote which cannot be undone simply because some didnt like the out come. However, that is exactly what happened in Ireland a few years ago and hey presto the EU won the second vote when they literally threw hundreds of millions of Euros at the country.
