Whatever political party(ies) make up the short term government - until we have another inevitable general election - they have all promised to invest but into the housing market. This should offer a degree of support in these difficult times. History shows us that the UK property market is a very resilient beast!

Rental income in some areas is softening a little but in general it will continue to rise in the longer term. However, two factors to consider, the ever increasing UK population although this should be considered alongside short term household income, which is not expected to keep pace with inflation in the short term.

Short term neutral to positive/Long term positive

Opportunities for the brave! Brexit will not be as bad as people suggest. Why would the EU cut us out of the picture altogether when we buy more off them in the UK than they buy off the UK combined.
