There are numerous ways to save energy within the home whether increasing your loft insulation, switching off electric appliances when not in use or even replacing damaged windows. If you move onto individual items such as energy-saving bulbs, there is the potential to save an enormous amount of money in the long term.

Each energy-efficient system/appliance on its own may not save you a fortune but when you put them together they do certainly add up.
