While the European Union referendum has encouraged a ferocious fight between those for and against membership of the EU, it has also put the UK property market at the forefront of many discussions. While we can discount some of the more blatant attempts to scare voters one way or the other there are some concerns

We have been here so many times before with doom and gloom merchants predicting the end of the UK property market as we know it. However, underlying demand for UK property is still extremely strong and the current situation of low finance costs due to historically low interest rates makes UK property even more attractive. Whether or not we see some kind of consolidation/slow down when UK base rates finally begin to move higher remains to be seen.
