Hurghada legal advice.

I am going to hurghada soon and the estate agent has returned to me with the following:

If you would like legal services I can arrange our preferred partner to contact you so you can see exaclty what he can offer to safeguard your investment. Our preferred lawyer is registered with the British Embassy and based in Hurghada, his services range from £750 to £1,250. The legal service is not compulsory but we strongly advise seeking independent advice. The only other fee to consider is the "Green Contract" (govenment name/deed registration). This is activated upon completion of the property and the charge ranges between 3% to 4%, from the Egyptian Government.

From research it seems there is no Embassy in Hurghada. Is it best to use an independent laywer? If so, where would I find one. Also, the "Green Contract" I thought was paid for by the seller.

Any advice to this and anything else I should know I would greatly appreciate.
