As the only element of the Help to Buy scheme being withdrawn relates to 95% mortgage guarantees there should not be a major problem going forward. As mentioned in the article, the financial situation we see today is very different to that in recent times although Brexit could yet cause some problems in the short to medium term. On the whole, the withdrawal of this element of the scheme will only affect those who could not really afford their chosen properties anyway.
