I have always been intrigued by the Chinese market because the performance figures released by the Chinese government never seem to tally with the economic/real estate market headlines. Romania is an interesting opportunity because there does seem to be genuine demand for real estate in the country - even if the EU itself is struggling.

If the UK can agree new trade deals with the European Union and other countries around the world, surely this bodes well for the UK property market? Why would you want to expose yourself to the toil and turmoil of the EU property market at the moment?

Maybe in the short to medium-term the European property market as a whole will fall to a level which offers good value in the longer term? Out of the mess which is the European Union we may see some very interesting buying opportunities although highlighting Romania as a growth market does not at this moment in time mean that the European property market has turned.
