When will the UK government activate Article 50?

Article 50 is the means by which the UK will eventually exit the European Union with a two-year period to agree exit terms. After the Brexit vote many expected UK property prices to go into freefall but this has not happened. Will the eventual activation of Article 50 make a difference to the UK property market?

We might have a small symbolic reaction when Article 50 is activated but by then the markets will be more aware of potential changes going forward?

Is there still time for the European Union to come back with a counter offer for the UK public? Perhaps a way in which the UK could remain within the European Union?

If anything the European economy is in a far worse state than the UK which begs the question, why have investors been so concerned about Brexit?

I wouldn't be surprised if Article 50 is never invoked.

Nothing is certain at this moment in time - everything is on the table. However, this uncertainty does not help the economy or the property market. Looks like we are watching a game of high stakes poker?
