I've noticed a few more, especially in the last month.
This could be due to a few reasons:
- Investors on the sidelines watching what happens due to uncertainty due to tax changes in 2016/2017.
- Wages not keeping up with property prices meaning they are more unaffordable for first time buyers.
- Supply of stock increasing as perhaps some investors 'cash out' due to the uncertainty ahead.
- Worries about a global slowdown (China in particular and Europe still giving sluggish growth, and oil price collapse)
I believe these to be the main reasons - anybody with more reasons I'd love to hear your opinions.
